I recently had to have my hard drive replaced, and they installed the Mac OSX but it is missing my iphoto! How do I get it back!

Do you use Time Machine ?
How did you purchase iPhoto through the App Store or was it iLife Disk ?

iphoto was on my computer when I bought it originally several years ago. They put the original Mac OS X Leopard on it when they replaced the hard drive, but missing iphoto. My time machine back up hadn't been working for some time so I gave up trying to figure that out. I just don't know any mac users to help me.

Where are your original Leopard disks that came with your Mac? You can extract and install iPhoto or all of iLife from the disks.

I do have them, when I tried to put one in first time and restart the computer though, it would not start back up without putting in the mac osx cd. soooo afraid of crashing my hard drive again, didn't want to do it.

You don't need to reboot the machine to your OS X disc to start the installation of the iLife suite.

Insert it while you are up and running. One of the items on the disc is something like - Install additional software - I forget exactly what it's called, it's been awhile - use that option.
