Iphoto Library Storage

In Finder, my iphoto library shows that it takes up 70gb of storage. When I go to the library it only comes out to 26gb. Where is the difference in storage? Im trying to make more room, but I have no idea where the extra 44gb of storage is?

Your iPhoto library has its own trash. Have you emptied the iPhoto library trash?
