I've tried searching Google for this problem but can't find anything on it. So I'm sorry if this is repeated. I want to take my contacts off my iPhone on onto my Mac. I have already tried clicking sync contacts in iTunes Info and I unclicked the Contacts tab under the replace information on this iPhone. When I sync my iPhone I get 37 contacts in my address book out of 150 contacts on my iPhone.

Try opening up iSync - in your Applications folder - go into Preferences and hit the 'Reset Sync History' button at the bottom.

When you go to sync your phone the next time, iTunes will pop up and ask how you want to sync, with three options:
from phone to computer
from computer to phone
I use the option that merges the two of them so you can make changes on either one.

Make sure you have the most recent version of iTunes installed.

And is your phone jailbroken?

I do have the most recent version of iTunes. My iPhone isn't jailbroken but at one time was.
