iPhone Safari/ iMac Chrome Sync

When I open a webpage on my iPhone 6Plus Safari App, I get a pop-up notification on my iMac Chrome Browser. It allows me to click the notification on the iMac and opens the webpage I was viewing on my phone. I do not want this to happen, any suggestions to disable this? My iMac is using the Apple ID I use for my phone.

I just created a new Apple ID for the MAC as a workaround, but I still do not know how to unlink the iPhone Safari and iMac Chrome browsers.

2017 27" iMac, 10.5" iPad Pro, iPhone 8, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 Mini, Numerous iPods, Monterey
I just went through all the options for iCloud and tried to do what you're experiencing. No matter which I selected, I couldn't get a notification in Chrome when I chose an iPhone bookmark from Safari. Check your Chrome extensions to see if you have any installed that might be responsible for the notifications.
