Just because the US government allows something does not mean it is safe. US has lots of things that are banished in Europe. I do not know why the leg hurts. I do not know if heavy cell phone use causes cancer. I only know that I can feel WARM using all cell phones. THe really cheap ones with (Might have) higher SAR (?) give me headaches. (calling for roadside assistance) I had a good experience with very limited use of the I pad. I borrowed the very old first version of I pad to read some kid books, play the jello drawing game, Puss N Boots kids games. I did not feel "warm" then. So, I thought I could attempt to be like "normal" people. I WANT to be like "normal" people. I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 on deep discount with ATT Data plan to stream music. I can FEEL it warm on the screen. Apps on or off. Safe mode (? not sure). I don't know if this causes cancer or not. Even if scientists come back saying "yes, it causes cancer." I would never say "I told you so." I am only saying I feel WARM from ALL cell phones. (I have borrowed an I phone to make a few important roadside calls.) Yes, I agree with the advice is to avoid devices that make you feel uncomfortable. This is my choice. I guess I will have to accept the fact that I might be different from other people. I read a little bit about this subject. Perhaps, because I am more impulsive, like a teenager in my brain, perhaps, my brain carries more water? I read the WHO website about cell phones and electromagnetic energy. It is actually very reassuring. Everything plugged into an electric socket in the home has an electromagnetic field. Why don't I "feel" the refrigerator? Why do I only feel the cell phones? (and now, the Samsung Galaxy note 8.0 tablet.) I want to hear from other people. Any where. ANy cell phone. Does anyone else ever feel WARM????? ??? Am I the only one? I have never felt warm on my leg before. Now, with the Samsung tablet, I feel warm on my leg when streaming audio. I own a basic Verizon Samsung Gusto for emergencies only. It has a SAR of 0.37 I believe. (Slow as molasses by the way). I use land lines. I even put the tablet in a thck metal art purse box made from old car license plates. I tried facing the screen towards my body. The lid is open to recieve signal. I guess I will have to return it to ATT without activating the Data account. Many other people do not seem to feel warm at all. Perhaps, I am more sensitive than other people? PLEASE I would just love to know if ANY people out there ever feel warm? I have a friend or two who do get headaches from extensive long term cell phone use. They limit the legnth of phone calls. THank you!
