I have an MPB Somona 14 and an iPad 16.6.1 (without the phone option) but do not have ... and will never want ... to cart around (and possibly lose) a clomping great iPhone.

I gather that WhatsApp is not available via the MPB or the iPad ... is this indeed the case?

Don't often send or receive texts but if necessary I use a small Nokia. But how about texting (SMS) via the MPB or the iPad. Are there any work-arounds that make this possible?
