IPhone 7 Plus Personalized Ringtone Issues

I've got many contacts for whom I have custom ringtones. But the ringtone I have set for them does not play when they call. My phone plays the main ringtone. So, how do I get my phone to play the custom ringtone that I've allocated to a few of my contacts?

Make sure the phone number only appears once in your contact list. If it is more than once, then only the default tone will be played.
When you preview them, ensure that the ringtones play. Make sure they are in the right format.

The iPhone ringtone does not play MP3 files, it needs to be converted in to ACC format:
