.does anyone recall the macworld issue about a year+ ago that had the backcover article about the up and coming ipad.it has been a loooooong time since then and there has been no news on apple.no news on forums.nothing.did the idea just disapear?apple failed with the newton but now with the tech they have the ipad will surpess its enemy palm...i think so at least.any one know whats up?

My guess is that since all the things ipad could do the iPod can now do... so I guess iPod acts as a replacement. Not the minis of course

+well the ipad would of been more of a PDA so i dont really think the ipod took its place.maybe some aspects would have been shared but definitly not all of them.+
