Are we scared Apple will go, "no more pre-orders for now as already pre-order sold as many ipads as we think we will make in the first batch, wait for the 2nd batch". Is that why we want to pre-order the second pre-order is available?

Seriously just pre-order it when you can and pick it up sometime soon after it's released and I'm sure you'll get your ipad no hassles.

Pre-ordered for pick up just so I could go see if it's crazy or not. Don't believe I've ever stood in line for anything except Rolling Stone tickets once... around 40 yrs ago.

Ordered 32gb + 3g. I reall y want internet everywhere and 32gb seems like a good amount for plenty of music and movies.

Plus if there's any major glitches or I just don't like it after playing with store models I can cancel before the 3g versions ship.

I reserved the 32gb Wifi only and will be picking it up on April 3rd!!! I didn't want to waste the day waiting for UPS or Fed Ex to deliver it to me.

They didn't let you choose accessories when I reserved the iPad so I'll be buying those separately. I'll definitely be getting the camera connection kit but other than that I don't know if I'll be getting any of the other Apple accessories.

I'm waiting for 3rd party vendors to release some nice cases/bags for me to purchase. I'm also looking forward to Scosche releasing their Kickback stand for the iPad. Looks like a very nice stand from the prototype pictures that I've seen.

I did notice that for the reservation indicated that the iPad would be available for pickup from 9am to 3pm. The Apple stores in my area normally don't open until 10am on Saturdays. So do you think they're going to open early to get as many iPads, to the people who reserved them, and not have huge lines like they did for the iPhone? Just wondering

Why don't you ask your local store instead of us?
