Can i block certain incoming connections in IOS ?

Or if thats not possible then how is that done on the Airport express router, i.e. in the Airport setup software? We couldn't find anywhere in the Airport software to do just that?

Some help would be appreciated.

We need a bit more information to answer your question. What exactly are you trying to block? Are you trying to block connections on an iPhone/iPad or on a Mac? What version of macOS or IOS are you using?

Welcome to our Forums.

You use the name "iOS" which is the operating system for all iDevices. May we assume that you are referring to an iPhone or iPad?

And what are you hoping to block? For example, it is easy to block calls and texts on an iPhone and we can help with this if that's the case - but if it's something else.........

So, a bit more info please.

Thanks.
Yes, its iPad and iPhone which is the devices i want to block certain incoming connections on, hence "iOS" (iOS 9 and up).
And what i want to block is the iOS firmware update notifications which pops up every so often, so i guess its "mesu.apple.com" that needs to be blocked.

But how do i achieve this, either on the devices directly or on the Airport router? I guess its not possible on the devices, but on the router?

You cannot add filtering on the device itself. The Airport Express doesn't have a lot of filtering capability, you might need a better router to do IP/address level filtering/blocking.

It is seldom a good idea to avoid updating a compatible device, why would you want to block it?
