As noted, iOS 13.1 is now available for download.

A new feature of iOS 13 is the ability to block annoying spam calls. It sends them to voicemail where you can remove them.

I would have preferred if we had the option to kill the calls altogether without sending them to voicemail. But, it's better than what it was before.

I still recommend using a spam blocking app. I use hiya which so far has worked well.

No iPadOS13 for another few days? Is that likely to be 13.1 as well?

I know I don't know. It depends on if there are other options/features that affect the iPad.

Decided to wait until the 13.1 releases - just upgraded both my iPhone XR & iPad Pro, the latter w/ iPadOS 13.1 - disliked the default 'small' icons on the home screens, so went back to larger ones - going to run 'dark mode' on both for a while, but not sure of its appearance for me?

As to spam calls, I'm not really getting many (not one in nearly a week) - not sure if the Verizon 'spam feature' is doing its job and/or my number is only a few months old and not known despite robocallers simply using computer generated random phone numbers for their nefarious doings! :) Dave

iOS 13.1 was released at the same time for both the iPhone and iPad. The iPad version is known as iPadOS 13.1.

They were released yesterday.

Thanks, I didn't know there was an upgrade available for iPad to iPadOS. When I looked earlier (a few days ago) it wasn't available yet.

I knew because I was beta testing iPadOS 13.1 for around a month before it was released. I had to change my profile from beta to final release to install the update. Our forums look great with the new iPadOS both using the Mac-Forums app or Safari.
