I have a brand new MacBook Pro with OS X 10.4.10.

When I first loaded the Stickies program, I deleted the default stickies that came with the program. Now, all stickies are invisible and I can't seem to get them to appear.

When I create them, they are listed in the "Window" menu, but no matter how much I click on them or try to "bring all to front," they refuse to show their faces.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Copy what you deleted from a working Mac and then put the files where you deleted them from on your Mac.

Invisible stickies

Just started using an iMac with OS X 10.5.88 and wanted to use the stickies program.

Every time I try and create a stickie, it says that they are there ... in the Window menu ... but no stickie appears on the desktop.
I've tried all the menu commands and preference choices but ... nothing appears!

I have several stickies under Window with different colors, but no way to see them ... unless one of you brilliant Mac'ites out there can fix this for me!
