Installing game issues.

Hi all!
I have been trying for hours to try and get one of my old games to work, it's Black and White 2.
I previously had it on my MAC but the computer got rebooted so I lost it. It is OS 10.6.8, and it worked fine before on this.
However a new issue I am having is trying to instal it. It reads the disk okay, I double click onto the icon and it opens many files. I click on the largest '3.5gb setup' and tell me that I need 'choose application' or 'go to app store'. Really want to get this game sorted and obviously it can work from previous experience. Please help me!

Welcome to Mac-Forums..

Could you please provide specifics about the files that are on the disk, it sounds like they are not Mac-specific but rather Windows files since OS X doesn't know what to do with it and wants to find another application to deal with it..
