I am trying to install Debian onto my IMac . I can't seem to be able to boot from cdrom, I have tried holding all kinds of keys but nothing seems to work, it will always boot to MacOsX.

If anyone has a solution to my problem please let me know, I have searched so many websites but nothing seems to work.

Thanks.

I'm not sure Debian runs on Mac. I think I've heard of Red Hat installing ok, and I know Yellow Dog works great on Mac. :)

This has been my biggest question since the idea first came up. My guess i to set up a dual boot for some Linux apps. I see no reason to do it yet... I Agree - OS X is too awesome to need any other OS...
