Earlier this week ThinkSecret had posted an article detailing some of the features of the upcoming iChat update (the story has since been removed at the request of Apple). Here are the details I remember

  • Video/Audio Conferencing
  • Ability to connect to multiple IM protocols
  • Release of an Apple video cam...perhaps called iSight...for use with iChat

Sounds like some good stuff to me!

cool... Anybody got webcams? we have a couple. Would be cool to set up a chat with ichat and do video conferencing with it.

I don't have one that works with the Mac yet...by if Apple releases one, I'd probably buy it :)
