iNewbie - Please Help

Just picked up my iPhone 4S and iPad2 in my attempt to convert to mac. I have a Windows 7 laptop and was wondering if I spent the $30 on Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, would I be able to transfer those documents to my laptop and edit etc.? If not can you suggest an alternative app that would allow me to do so.

Yea you can transfer them over (and it's even easier now with iCloud). They give you the option to save in Microsoft Office file formats.
