Hello,

I am trying to import a few personal videos from my computer into iMovie for editing. The first time I tried, I imported a 6 minute .mp4 file and it worked just fine. Then I tried a longer video, about an hour's length. iMovie accepts the file every time and begins the import process. Then once the process finishes, the import window closes but the video does not appear as an event in iMovie the way the first video clip did. I tried again thinking there might have been some kind of error, but got the same result. I also tried converting the .mp4 into .mov and got the same result.

Am I doing something wrong or do I have a technical problem?

And why did it work with the first video, but not the second?
