Hello all i need help.

I think i may of messed up my imovie , i recorded a 5min video on my video camera and imported it into imovie.
ive just finished editing the video and want to export it i do this in the usual way share file.
i select all the options i usually use and its taking nearly 7 hours to render and making my machine grind to a holt with the fans on full its never done this before
im using imovie 10 and a c2d mac 2.66ghz and 8gb ram
before it would take about 20 mins to render the video

any ideas??
