It doesn't look good for Canon's drivers either but you may want to try their various worldwide support sites. IE: Canon Canada support only lists Mac OS X 10.10 as the last supported version. Other pages seem to indicate some High Sierra 10.13 support but I can't confirm. http://canon.ca/en/Contact-Support/Consumer/Downloads I'd give VueScan a try and it seems to still work in a trial mode and download here (use the 64x version): https://www.hamrick.com/old-versions.html It's still cheaper than a new cheap scanner that may not even be supported in the latest macOS. :Blushing: Or maybe try some of these hits: https://www.google.ca/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=Mac+using+CanoScan+LiDE+100+with+High+Sierra+10.13&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&gfe_rd=cr&dcr=0&ei=BcSeWuWDPOLe8AfjuYaAAg PS: With that "disconnect" warning, I'd suggest you try connecting with a different well known good working USB cable and make sure the scanner is turned On and restart the Mac. Actually I'm a bit surprised that Image Capture.app doesn't work a bit better for you. Is its window fully expanded to show all details etc??? PS: You might also want to try adding the scanner to your System Prefs Printer&Scanner pref again in case your High Sierra 10.13 notices the change and gives you some new options to add the CanoScan LiDE 100 — again, and then try using it. Again, make sure the CanoScan LiDE 100 is turned On and connected while doing so. - Patrick ======
