Situation is.......

iMac desktop in office upstairs.

3 LED TV's in house.

I want to wireless stream mkv movies (and pics, music etc.) to the TV's.

I'm in the UK. PC world etc hopeless. Apple store can't (won't) help.

Can anyone help me. What kit, where and roughly how much ££££.

Best wishes

1. Convert the mkv's to mp4s using something like ReduxEncoder or VisualHub (etc). This can be done in batches overnight or even automatically with a simple folder action.
2. Buy an Apple TV or three.

Boom. Done.

Boom done, but I am down 3 the cost of Apple TV, the poor conversion stability of MKV to mp4 for audio and I will say it again I have to buy an Apple TV.

Also I want to not used iTunes.

Thank you for the thought.

Cheers
