Yes...with such an old OS installed (Tiger, OS 10.4)...I'm not surprised at all that you're having the occasional or frequent webpage issue with Safari...since the version of Safari with 10.4 is very very old. Maximum OS for this computer is 10.11 (El Capitan). Problem is...when Apple comes out with a new version of the OS...the previous version of the OS is removed. And in case you didn't know...OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard) was the last OS version that came on disk. Since OS 10.7 (Lion)...the OS versions have been download only (technically 10.7 did come on a USB stick...but very few people purchased it this way). I believe 10.6, 10.7, and 10.8 can still be purchased...but even these OS version's are outdated. With OS 10.9 and newer...the OS's were free downloads...but as I mentioned...they are removed when a new version is released. The most current OS version is "High Sierra" (OS 10.13). As you can see...with OS 10.4 (Tiger) on your iMac...it is WELL behind the newest version of 10.13 (9 OS version's old)! - Nick
