iMac g4 model number M6498

Hello folks, does anyone know what the highest OS I can install on an iMac 4 model number M6498? I scored one of these but when I turn it on it just keeps thinking. I tried control s and r but no luck. Please and thank you

Welcome to our forums.

Looks like Tiger 10.4.11 is highest you can install on that machine. Going to be difficult to find an install Tiger DVD especially since you're going to need to need the "all machine version" and not the one specific for your model. That machine is considered vintage by Apple so your best bet is to look on eBay.
