imac dialup connectivity

Hello all and please accept my ignorance on this matter. I'm using an Emac and would like to modern up to a new Imac. Problem is, I'm on dialup and wonder if near or present day Imacs allow for a telephone connection. Unlike my Emac that has an internal modem and a telephone cable jack, I'm thinking this technology is none existent in newer Imacs. Is it possible to set up an external modem and what would it be?

Would have to be like a Zoom Usb modem 3095...May not be any dailer software in the newer OS. There is an open source dailer like Kppp.
