No. Leopard is only available on disk. If you wanted a Leopard install disk…the best place to purchase one would be eBay. But I know that you are in a rush…so this may not be possible.

You can still purchase a brand new OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard) install DVD from Apple:

You can also purchase OS 10.7 via Apple…and it is a downloadable OS:
OS X Lion (10.7) - Apple Store (U.S.)
- You would have to purchase 10.7 via Apple.
- Eventually download 10.7 on a 2nd computer.
- Create a bootable USB drive installer of 10.7.
- Use this bootable USB drive installer of 10.7 on this 24" iMac

Hello to all. What news i have. Good and Bad. After a big search i found on the net a distro of leopard to check if its working or not....
yesterday i have one more idea if its possible to install mac on vm and then copy the vhd to physical machine.
but before i write about the original dvd when i open it on my hp laptop it has only <1gb
data.
and all accessible from my windows laptop. spacial 1 folder called drivers.
anyway. the distro that i found its about 2.5 gb and its special for x86 / amd and intel proc. the imac comes with intel cpu.
today i try to install on my laptop and seems to working. i burn a dvd with distro and put on external dvd and yes its run on imac. i see all the menu and everything. but!!! now the bad news....
1) it runs the setup like linux cosole and then come to GUI
2) i erase with disk utility 2 hdd also the primary of imac
3) i formated as extended fs from disk utility
4) i install then the mac os....after finished and try to restart
my imac is going on a big FOLDER that blinking the folder with ?
what the **** ( sorry ) is going on...
i take the hard disk and put on old machine hp and runs smoothly mac os leopard!!!!!!!
first of alla i understand that i dont have problem with dvd external graphics card and of coarse hdd bus of the mac.
so what else could be the problem ?????????

Sorry…but this thread is being closed. You were told once at the beginning of this thread that the initial Snow Leopard file you downloaded was not legal. Now you downloaded a Leopard file that is not legal.
