Hi, there...
I have an eMac and I'm in big trouble... I can't burn CD's or DVD's (although I can read them...) When I insert a blank CD or DVD, everything seems fine: the files are copied, then burned... But when verification begins, the CD is spit out, with a message: Error Code 6 (overflow). I ran the Hardware Test and everything seems OK. Then I ran Norton Disk Doctor and First Aid. First Aid reported missing threads: Missing thread record (and 4 different ID's), as well as 3 Invalid volume directory counts. I borrowed an external 3rd Party CD Reader/Writer (Que!USB) to try to burn my files there, I plugged it on the USB Bus 0, which is recognized on the device/volumes, but when I run the Adaptec Toaster (on Classic) it says I don't have a writer... I've read some suggestions for this problem in other forums (using 650 MB discs instead of 700 MB discs, and trying with different burning speeds) I couldn't find any 650 MB at any local computer store and changing speeds doesn't work either... HHEEEEELLLLP!
