I'm having a problem with my new mac

I'm not sure why, but my computer spontaneously made a grumble, and afterwards, the keyboard wasn't responding. Every other function was working fine, time was being kept, it's able to charge, but still, as if the screen was frozen, I could not type nor move the pointer. Can someone suggest a solution?

Unfortunately, it sounds like you might have a hardware issue. I would recommend running the Apple Hardware Test, which is detailed here.
