I'll try. :girl:
First of all, a recap for those not knowing how to get to the gradient info...
You'll need a shape to put the gradient in it. Then you click on the gradient tool (or type
G) to select it, in the tools palette.
If it isn't open already, go to
Window in menubar and select
Gradient (or ⌘ F9). The gradient tool palette will appear. (Make sure you're in colour mode, not in grayscale mode. You can select a different mode in the Color palette - or F6).
In the gradient palette, select in the drop-down menu either radial or linear gradient.
In the Gradient palette, click on the little slider that delimits the colour on the left: you will see that if it is properly selected, the little triangle at the top of the little slider turns black. That's when you can pick the colour you want. The first slider's colour should change from black to whatever colour you have just selected.
The same procedure to pick the colour on the right. Click on the right-hand slider, choose the colour. Now you're set to apply your gradient! :girl:
If you want intermediary colours in the gradient,
Option-click on either one of those sliders and it will create a new slider to which you can apply any colour you want.
Hope this helps.
