Apple delays iLife

January 23, 2003 - 16:37 EST

Apple said today that it will delay shipment of iLife, its new suite of iApps that debuted at Macworld Expo earlier this month. "We will be shipping our iLife retail package and making iPhoto 2 and iMovie 3 available for download on our Web site by Jan. 31, a week later than we originally announced," Apple said in a statement. The company did not provide a reason for the delay.

Apparently they were going to charge for them, but his highness must have taken heed of the rumour sites' outrage :)

Saw this at Think Secret. Their "sources" say Apple delayed the release of iLife because of the iMac upgrades coming in the next couple weeks. Also, they reported that many Apple stores are sitting on quite a few copies of iLife waiting to get the word.

I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the 10.2.4 update being released.

Anyway, you can read about it HERE

I wonder how soon 10.2.4 will be available, since I have not upgraded to 10.2.3 as of yet.

So far it seems that either the hold up is caused because of new iMac releases and/or the release of 10.2.4 . Only time will tell

It looks like a wait and see game now.
