Really stupid question


How do I tell if I installed iLife 06?

I bought my ibook in Feb. I thought it came with iLife pre-installed. I have iMovie, garage, iphoto, etc. However, I am missing iWeb.

Now I do have an iLife 06 CD with the iWeb component that came with the computer when I bought it (I can't remember if I installed the CD or not). It also has 4 coupons for "upgrades" or something.

So do I have iWeb and need to install it? Or don't I and I need to purchase iWeb from the apple site. And what are those coupons?

I'm really confused. New MAC user.

If you have tiger with the spotlight - the blue magnifying glass in the top right corner of the screen, which I'm sure you do if you just bought the iBook, click it and type iweb and see if it finds anything on your hard drive. That will locate it for you if it is installed and if you hover over it will show you the location ffor the program. If it isn't there, put in your iLife cd and find the iWeb pkg file and double click it and that will install iWeb for you where it should then appear in your applications folder. After you find it or install it, drag it to the dock where it will create a shortcut to the program if you like.
