Unlike Windows computers, Macs don't need a toxic-gas uninstaller.

into Spotlight and run a search. You can trash each molecule it finds. But EasyFind is better. If you set it to look for invisibles, it checks the attic and the steamer trunk in the basement where it will find and trash the body.

There are AppleScripts on the web that will do it so you don't have to sit there and manually trash 10 zillion to the 50th power molecules. You can use Search and Replace if you want to change "steamer trunk" (without the quotes) to "old wardrobe" in the pathway.

Have you tried repairing permissions? Zapped the PRAM? That's just how Macs are supposed to work, go back to Windows if you don't like it!
