Hello, I have not had many problems with my Mac or iPhone that I could not resolve myself but this really baffles me! Ok, so I signed up for iCloud storage so I could store all my photos in iCloud as a backup. I also use Time Machine so I have a local backup but this off-site backup seems like a pretty good idea. Anyway, after signing up from my iPhone, ALL my photos from my Mac were downloaded onto my iPhone. This basically filled up my iPhone and I didn't even want this feature. I basically want to have all the new pictures I have taken to be uploaded to iCloud so I don't loose them in case my phone is damaged, stolen, etc. So I proceeded to turn off iCloud Photo Library on my iPhone and My Photo Stream, thinking this would delete all these photos that were uploaded onto my phone. Well I was wrong; all the photos are still on my iPhone and I cannot seem top get rid of them! I have tried going into Photos on my Mac and remo0ving them but that option doesn't seem to exist. I have tried going into Image Capture and deleting them from there but the delete option is greyed out. My questions are: 1. How do I get rid of these photos from my phone? 2. How do I simply have the NEW photos I take upload to iCloud but NOT download my entire library to my phone. I have an iPhone 6s Plus running iOS 9.2 and a Mac running OSX 10.11.2 Thanks!
