I cannot get my iBook G4 to recognize my WeightWatchers ActiveLink when it is plugged into a USB port. Any suggestions?

Is this a new problem…or did your Weight Watchers Active Link work at one time…and now it's not working?

Also…are you sure the USB port you are using works (have you tried plugging something else into it to verify the USB port is working properly)?

Finally…what OS version is your iBook running?

Snow Leopard OS X.6 and later for Intel machines.

This is what I found regarding OS requirements for the Weight Watchers ActiveLink product:

It mentions the oldest compatible OS version as 10.4.11 (Tiger).

According to the website...the product is compatible all the way thru Mountain Lion (10.8).

This first thing i thought of was macbook G4 have very low USB power/voltage, try using a usb hub with a plug in adaptor, i had to.

and don't listen to these spring chickens, I love and kinda miss my macbook G4!

Technically speaking (if it had a "G4" cpu)...it was either a Powerbook or an iBook.
