I've always wanted a mac, but could only afford to build my own PC. I finally have a job that allows me to rake in enough to buys myself an iBook! Hatacha! I should have the funds on the 8th of October! Anyway, to the point. I'm going to mostly use it for creating songs with garageband (I'm the drummer in a band, and this would help immensly), watching DVDs, surfing, etc. But I did see that there is a Battlefield 1942 version for mac, would this run on an iBook? It said there was a 32mb Radeon 9200 card inside, and if I remember correctly, that is around the requirements of BF. Obviously this isn't a gamming machine, but I was wondering what if any games it could run. Also, I have absolutly NO mac experiance, but I am just about to chuck my home-made piece of crap out the window. Anyway again...Is there any way to network between a mac and a PC? And finally, what's the general consensus on this machine?
Thanks a ton in advance!

I've got my iBook running Unreal Tournamnet 2k4.

The only issue that I have with it is that it made me realize that I should have gotten the RAM upgrade... oh, well.

other than that, the game runs great.

and speaking of Apple Centers...

Why is the Virginia Beach/Norfolk area still without an Apple Store? Why?

I have to go to a Mac Authorized Comp USA to get anything, if I don't want to either A. Drive to Richmond, or B. Apple Store online...

gar...
