ibook and airport extreme question

Just a quick question. I want to get an iBook very soon and I have a PC at home with a Microsoft Wireless Base Station. I want to make sure though that my iBook will work with an airport extreme card with that base station. I would think that it would work but I don't want to drop all that $ if it doesn't work.
