i am not a .mac or mobileme member, but want to use iWeb to make a website and have a .com address. I understand that I need to publish the site to a folder, and then use an FTP service to upload the folder to a hosting service, such as GoDaddy.

I have heard horror stories about doing this with GoDaddy. What would be the EASIEST, CHEAPEST, and MOST RELIABLE website to do this through? I'm concerned with EASINESS the most, as I am a complete newbie to web hosting.

Thanks!

dreamhost.com has good hosting and you can get a good deal on it because you are a member here. Check out the member discounts forum for the code.

I'd put in another vote for dreamhost. I've been using them for a year now with great success. My page server has only been down once since subscription and that was only for 20 minutes. Would gladly recommend them.

Just a word of warning if you are thinking about dreamhost. If you use a discount it only applies for a year, after that you have to pay full price.
