I pod microphone

Someone recently told me that ipods come available with a microphone ability. Although I don't believe it, I am open to the possibility that it may be. Any help.

You can purchase a microphone for them yes, the iPod itself doesn't have a microphone

Belkin makes some mic adapters, I would check them out. I have no clue how exactly it works, but I am sure it does.
