I need router help... doh!

Hello everyone, this is Homer Simpleton. I need help getting my iMac connected to my router. My router is connected to cable. I don't seem to have any problems connecting PCs to it. I've tried to follow some online stuff as well. If you are a "mac god" and can help me, I would galdly send you my Duffs beer and donut diet manual so you may look like me. Doh! I will check back in a day or so.
