Formerly attached to the imac was a Guardian Maximus external usb drive. This drive was formatted to work with the imac. I am trying to access some files on this external drive and I get this error. "The folder "Guardian Maximus" can't be opened because you don't have pernission to see its contents." I have this drive connected to my MBP and I can not change sharing and permissions. It is set to custom and will not accept changes. How do I get access to my drive? I have read other posts about this problem and I run into problems using the terminal to change settings and I need to some very clear instruction.Thanks</blockquote>
