I don't know if there's anything you can do in this situation, and not knowing what you've tried specifically, it's hard to say what's going on. If you're using it as a Time Machine backup, I'd recommend getting another type of drive, one that can be formatted and doesn't have its own software embedded, then doing a fresh backup and using that drive from here on in.If you're using it for something else, more information would help.</blockquote>
