Hi everyone, I'm the newest Macbook user, so please bear with me. I had a windows machine and I enjoyed streaming from my PC using Windows STEREOMIX app. I just got a Macbook Air 13.3 and I urgently need an equivalent app for Mac. I heard of BUILT-IN OUTPUT on Mac as the equivalent of STEREOMIX but I can't find BUILT-IN OUTPUT in my MacBook Air input/output devices. Can anyone help me out as I badly need this for my streaming shows?
Many thanks.
Edward

Welcome to our forums.

I tried to find out what the "Stereomix app" does in Windows and came up with lots of confusing answers. You need to tell us what it is and what it does so we can determine if there is anything that is equivalent for macOS. Provide details.

Also please provide specs for your MacBook Air: Year, model, and which version of macOS it's running.

The OP needed a Mac equivalent to STEREOMIX "badly" on Feb 4th....and then never answered the basic questions that were posted that same day.
Could not have been that urgent or the OP found a solution.

Hi everyone,

My apologies but I replied to the basic questions: I'm not sure if I did something wrong which did no t make my reply to come through.

I have a MacBook Air (M1, 2020) running macOS Monterey Version 12.2.1

I'm seeking an equivalent app for Windows Stereomix which basically enable me to stream all audios happening in my computer as a single audio stream to my online radio station. It combines all audios from both internal and external sources, so when I select 'StereoMix' as my streamers audio source, it will stream every sound happening in the computer.

Many thanks.

Many thanks for your suggestion RazorEdge,

I will give it a go and see how it goes. I will update you. I reckon this one is not free like Windows StereoMix. Anyways, I will try it and decide.

Best regards.

Hi everyone,

The LOOPBACK provides a solution, though it's not free like Windows StereoMix.

Many thanks for your help RazorEdge.

Stay blessed.

There is a way natively in macOS to create what's called an "Aggregate Device". I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but here are the instructions from Apple:
