Hi I have done this accidentally before and always been able to swipe the other way to regain my desktop and open files and browser but today I couldn't do it and I don't know why. Could someone please tell me how to get to widget screen and how to get away from it when I want to? I want to have control over it, not have accidents. Thank you.

There's a small right arrow icon in the extreme lower right of the display that can be clicked to return to the desktop. Or do a 3-finger right side swipe on the trackpad.:)

p.s. Thread moved to better area. Not really a "Switcher Hangout" topic. Thanks

Hi Nick, thanks, I had tried that and couldn't make the arrow work! Where should I take this topic? I saw options for Mac OS but wasn't sure it was an OS topic, thought it might belong to notebooks or laptops, but then couldn't find those options again. Sorry. really not used to the layout here. Thanks for your help!!!

Can you please explain what you mean by "couldn't get the arrow to work"? Are you saying you clicked or tapped on it & it didn't work (nothing happened)...or there was no arrow to click or tap on?

Ni worries. Already moved.:)
