I have installed (I think) the app mp3splt via the Terminal (Homebrew)but cannot for the life of me figure out how to actually run it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Then, read the documentation. Or as we used to say back in the day, RTFM. Man, I haven't had an opportunity to use that in years.

I hope it's intelligible, not something translated from Korean to German then Swedish and finally English which is how some manuals read! :)

Thanks for your reply but all I wanted to know was how to start the app. Reading your link meant nothing to me. Will have to find another app that works.

Open Terminal, type 'mp3splt' and it runs. Follow the documentation to figure out what options you want to use.

If the manual that was referenced meant nothing, then you don't have sufficient knowledge of how to work with Terminal to use it well. Terminal is a pretty powerful, hence dangerous, place to work. Look for an app that works with the macOS graphical interface to split the files.

EDIT: This thread references several solutions https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5885699?start=0&tstart=0
