It may be a slow process though since I think it will have to be done file by file rather than as a batch of files.  Generally the process involves opening the file in Appleworks,choosing Save As and then selecting a new filetype. Can't be more specific than that. It has been years since I used the program and didn't use it much when I had it. The program that chasm linked to should be able to do the conversions but apparently you cannot use the version of the program currently sold in the app store.
