How to find destination folder using new Index system

When using Index in Catalina to find a file, I used to be able to right click the file and "go to folder." I can't seem to do that anymore. Is there another way? Thank you.

Index? Can you be a bit more specific? Did you mean Spotlight, Finder, or something else? I've not heard of "Index."

While you can't do that in Spotlight, you can hold down the CMD key to see the folder it is in. But for this sort of action, you really should be using the search field within Finder. Both of them use the same indexed files. Once Finder finds the file you are interested in, you can right click and choose Show in enclosing folder.

Also, in Finder > View, you can select Show Path Bar, to display the path to the selected file/folder.
