Hi Ginny - let me just give you a suggestion that I've used often w/ Preview on multiple images I take w/ my digital camera and then transfer to my MBPro's HD (in whatever folder you like). The images are usually in the folder in a row(s) - multiple ones can be selected w/ the mouse by drawing a box around the desired images or chosen w/ the CMD-click key; the file names should be highlighted and by clicking on just one, all should open up in Preview where each can be quickly reviewed; by double-clicking on a file in the left column a context menu comes up that allows you to send that image to trash (see the attached screen capture below). On trips w/ my little digital camera, I often take 3-4 images of the same subject, this method allows me to quickly pick the best one on which to do further image cropping and processing - let us know if this helps. Dave :) .
