How long before shipping is less than 2-3 weeks?

Hey everyone,

Being slightly new to Macs as well as new product releases, how much longer does everyone think it will be before the MacBook Pro is shipping in less than 2-3 weeks? I know it was 3-4 for a couple of weeks or so, curious what the estimate is for less than 2-3, just based on past product launches. Has anyone ever seen a new product get released and over a month later still be at 2-3 weeks, or by April does anyone think it will be 1-2 days? Thanks! Helps with my buying decision since I have to buy from Apple.

Im also new to MACs, i ordered my MBP a couple of weeks ago, delv date is 5th April.
I'd say rather than waiting for the shipping time to come down just order one, looking at it i say couple months time when the shipping times will drop.

Wow, crazy. When you ordered it did the shipping time say 3-4 weeks at that point, and did you pay for expedited shipping? I just can't buy it until the start of April, and I need it before the end of April. I'm assuming it must have been 3-4 weeks when you ordered?

Well, I ordered mine on Feb 14 (before they were shipping), I got the email that they were shipping on March 09, mine shipped on March 11, it arrived at the FedEx Center March 14, I plan on driving there to pick it up in about an hour and a half.

So I guess it's hard to predict. If it says ships in 2-3 weeks, I would assume that 3 weeks would be the longest, assuming you were to buy it today. It used to be 3-4 weeks, so I don't see why it would say 2-3 and now take 6 weeks or something like that. Sounds good, thanks!

Hey, sorry for slow reply.
Yeah i ordered mine 2weeks back. Maybe worth going into your local store to buy? May pay extra (maybe ?) but you get it straight away.
As for paying for shipping, its completely Free

I ordered mine on Feb 24th. Waited. Waited. And ...Waited somemore. But Last night I received an email from apple saying that mine shipped! 9 days early! This is my first mac ever so I'm really excited! Mainly will be using it for Adium, Mail, GarageBand and Logic Pro. But glad to see apple shipped it out early! Hang in there guys ...I Have a feeling its gunna be worth it.

Ordered mine on the 11th of February and got in on the 13th of March...
