I have a RAID 5 which is at about 10% free space, and I want to change one of the drives to something larger so that there is more free space.

That being said....I have no idea how/if I can swap out one drive from a RAID 5. Anyone know how?

Is this RAID within a NAS? If so, you should refer to their documentation on swapping out drives. I have a Synology NAS that were initially populated with 750GB drives. A few years later I wanted to upgrade them to 2TB drives, and the process was to simply pull out one of the 4 current drives, replace it with a new drive, let the NAS do its sync'ing and once completed, rinse and repeat for the remaining 3 drives.
