What is happening is that major firms are avoiding taxes and Apple is a leader in doing so. It appears that they do so locating their activity in tax havens which are shortcuts to many troubles (ex: Ireland in the case of Apple). Yes this is a rather economic or political issue and we can't ignore it, as customers and citizens, given the impact of such behaviour on redistribution schemes. These very redistribution schemes have made public policies to be possible. I know very well different countries where such schemes failed a long ago or never existed, where very few people can enjoy laptops, other devices, watter supply or medical services.</p></blockquote><p></p>
