i hadn't realized roller derby was making such a big comback (and in such a real way) until i saw the rollergirls show that was on a&e (i think) a year ago or so. i miss that show!

I disagree. They're still pretty hot to me. They have backbone, they're capable, and at heart they're still girls. Nice combo, imho.

Very cool. I remember watching roller derby on a grainy b/w TV about 40 years ago but haven't thought much about it since. Interesting that it's making a comeback.

Also interesting that they're still wearing the old-style roller skates. I would have expected to see in-line.

Thanks to those who added links to some of the teams.

On the other hand, how long until the PC-crowd takes offense at the term "Hot Chicks"? In this world of over-sensitivity, I'm sure that offends someone. :)
