Today, I had to return my iBook, because it was "D.O.A."ed so I decided to get a desktop computer, And I got this. I looked at the 20 inchers, but I found them to be way too big in size, it made me mad. I like the 17". It's fresh like Will Smith in the early 90's.

I think it was because I spilled a full cup of ice water on the keyboard while i was asleep (because my desk is right by my bed, and I had the water on my desk) and didn't realize it for a couple of hours. I just told them it was acting weird and the Mac Genius guy couldn't get it to boot.

Haha, thanks!

They originally wouldn't let me return it because I did that free iPod Mini thing, and the box didn't have a UPC on it, so they said they would try and fix it, and it wouldn't boot, so I got this. The people that worked there looked scared. It was kinda fun.

I found a site that isn't Apple made Ram, but is still high quality stuff for cheaper, so I was wondering how much ram it can take.

An iMac G5 will take up to 2GB of RAM (2X1GB sticks).

I have 1GB in mine and run a lot of Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand, Cinema 4D, etc.
Crucial or Kingston are probably your best bet for Quality RAM.

Hope this helps

OK. Thanks. I'm planning on buying a 1GB stick, so I'll have 1.5GB of RAM. So, that should go over well. I'll look up Crucial and Kingston. Thanks again.

-Dylan

EDIT: What Pin number is it? And also, is it DDR or SDRam, Crucial has both and I read that it's all one thing on another website.
